Demorest Dispute Resolution, LLC is pleased to offer the services of Steve Kursman to serve as an Arbitrator, Mediator, or Facilitator.  Steve Kursman is a successful civil business litigator and trial attorney who has a strong interest in arbitration and mediation. He has been arbitrating and mediating for several years, both privately and through FINRA.  He also has been serving as an arbitrator for AAA.  He is an experienced case evaluator for Oakland and Wayne Circuit courts and for the Oakland District Courts, and is currently on the approved mediator list for Oakland Circuit Court and Oakland Probate Court.

As a careful and fair listener, Steve’s mediation approach establishes a conducive environment for parties to work through complex and difficult issues and get to resolution.  As an arbitrator, he remains a careful and fair listener while moving the arbitration forward in an efficient manner.   His rulings, both during the arbitration and at its conclusion, permit a quick and fair resolution and decision.
